Around Again Video- Press release

New Nashville North Entertainment Announces Video for Glenn Stewart’s “(Here It Comes) Around Again” featuring stars from RuPaul’s Drag Race

January 10, 2015--New Nashville North Entertainment is pleased to announce the video shoot for country-rock artist Glenn Stewart’s new single “(Here It Comes) Around Again” co-starring RuPaul’s Drag Race stars Joslyn Fox (S6), JuJubee (S2), Kelly Mantle (S6), Jade Jolie (S5), Monica Beverly Hillz (S5), and Jade Sotomayor (S1).

The video for (Here It Comes) Around Again will be filmed at PLAY Dance Bar in Louisville, KY on February 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.(Here It Comes) Around Again, was recorded by Glenn Stewart for his recently released CD, Breaking Boundaries. According to a review in the Worcester Telegram & Gazette, Stewart takes the dance track, written by Lucian Piane and RuPaul  and “turns it to country gold . . . passionately and convincingly tapping into the heart of the lyrics and unearthing intimate emotion and urgency.”

The video shoot is open to the public. Stewart is looking for a big crowd at the club. “We want HUGE audience participation for this, so bring your friends to PLAY LOUISVILLE on February 7 at 2:00 p.m. If you are a fan of great country-rock music, or a fan of Drag Race, or any of the queens on our roster, come be in the video!”   The roster of the queens for this video is impressive: Joslyn Fox, JuJubee, Kelly Mantle, Jade Jolie, Monica Beverly Hillz, and Jade Sotomayor.

In 2014, Stewart and Joslyn Fox teamed up for a video of Stewart’s first single, Little Miss John Wayne. “Joslyn Fox was perfect for that video,” says Stewart. “A drag queen in a country music video is unconventional. To have Joslyn Fox, a highly talented, nationally recognized, in-demand drag entertainer starring in a country music video was groundbreaking.  We are doing something that’s never been done before.”

Stewart is excited about continuing the connection between country music and the drag queen world, and breaking down boundaries in what is a traditionally conservative market. By doing a video of a RuPaul cover with six queens from multiple seasons of the reality show, Stewart is bridging that gap. “I’m a huge fan RuPaul’s Drag Race, and Joslyn and I know a video with additional queens will be fun, especially for this song with its tie to Rupaul. To get these girls in our video is another ground breaking move toward acceptance, tolerance and equality across all genres of entertainment.”

Play Dance Bar is located at 1101 East Washington Street, Louisville, KY.  The video shoot is open to the public starting at 2:00 p.m. on February 7, 2015.
